Achieving academic excellence is the goal of a college education and since the 1700's Greek letter organizations have been promoting scholarship at colleges across the nation.

Founded upon principles of scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship; Greek organizations exemplify these fundamental principles. Members exercise these qualities while pursuing their personal best in college and in life.

As a member of a Greek organization, you can make a difference in the lives of those in need through structured community service programs. Some of the philanthropic organizations the UNO Greek community has worked with include the American Red Cross, hurricane relief efforts, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, the Salvation Army, and the American Food Bank.
